The short version
- Your game progress is saved only on your device. We have no accounts and no game servers, and we never ask for your name, email address or location.
- The game is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google collects some device data, such as your IP address and, if you allow it, your advertising ID.
- Where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent before any ads load. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices.
- We do not sell your data. We don't receive any personal data from the ads ourselves.
1. Who we are
Cheeky Fox: Bike Rush (“the game”) is a mobile game for iOS and Android starring Tilki, a cheeky fox on a bike. It is published by Nyota Creative (“we”, “us”), which is responsible for the game. This policy explains what happens to data when you play the game and which choices you have.
Questions? Write to us at [email protected].
2. What stays on your device
Your progress (coins, level, upgrades, bike colours, your snack collection, missions and daily gifts) and your settings (sound, music, language) are saved in the game's own storage on your device. They are never sent to us. We don't run accounts or game servers, and we don't use any analytics or tracking tools of our own.
If you delete the game or clear its data, your progress is deleted too, and we can't restore it. If you use your device's own backup (for example iCloud or Google backup), it may include the game's data; that backup is handled by Apple or Google under your account, not by us.
3. Ads and the data Google collects
The game is free because it shows ads: optional rewarded videos (for example, to keep going after a crash or to double your coins) and, after some runs, a full-screen ad. The ads are provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC (for users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland: Google Ireland Limited). The Google Mobile Ads software inside the game sends data directly to Google; we don't see it.
When the game requests and shows ads, Google, and the advertising partners Google works with, may collect:
- Device identifiers: on Android, the advertising ID and the app set ID; on iPhone and iPad, the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking (see section 4), and otherwise an identifier that is limited to our own apps (IDFV).
- IP address and approximate location: your IP address, which can be used to estimate your general area, such as your city or region. The game never uses GPS or your precise location.
- Device and app information: for example device model, operating system and version, language, screen size, network type, and the game's name and version.
- Ad interactions: which ads were shown, whether you tapped or watched them, and when the game was opened.
- Diagnostics: crash logs and performance information about the ads software, such as loading times.
Google uses this data to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure how ads perform, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve its services. If you agree to personalised ads, ads may also be chosen based on your interests. If you don't, you may see non-personalised or limited ads, which use only basic information such as your general location and the game you are playing.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the consent form (section 4) lists the advertising partners by name. To learn more about how Google uses data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, How Google uses data for advertising and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Your consent and choices
Consent form (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game shows a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform before any ads are loaded. It explains what the data is used for, names the advertising partners, and lets you accept, refuse or choose in detail. You can change your choice at any time: in the game, open Settings → Privacy choices. This option appears wherever it applies.
US state privacy laws
If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law (such as California), you can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for targeted advertising in Settings → Privacy choices, and with the device settings below.
Tracking on iPhone and iPad
Because of Apple's App Tracking Transparency, the game can only use your advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow it. If the game shows Apple's prompt and you tap “Ask App Not to Track”, or if you have turned off “Allow Apps to Request to Track”, the IDFA is not shared. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Advertising ID on Android
Open your phone's Settings → Google → Ads (on some phones Settings → Privacy → Ads) to reset or delete your advertising ID. Once it is deleted, apps get a row of zeros instead of your ID.
Your Google Account
If you use a Google Account, you can also manage ad personalisation in My Ad Center.
5. Children
The game has friendly cartoon content and is rated for everyone (4+ on the App Store, Everyone on Google Play). It is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children: we collect nothing ourselves, and the ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences (maximum ad content rating “G”).
If you are a parent or guardian and think your child's data was collected through the ads, contact us and we will help you ask Google to delete it. You can also turn off personalised ads with the choices in section 4 and use your device's parental controls (Screen Time on iPhone and iPad, Family Link on Android).
6. What we don't collect
The game has no accounts, no chat, no user-generated content and no in-app purchases. It doesn't ask for access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location, and we don't use any analytics or tracking tools of our own.
7. Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't receive personal data from the ads. Data collected by the ads software goes directly to Google, which processes it under its own privacy policy. From AdMob we only get summary reports (for example, how many ads were shown and what they earned) that don't identify you.
Some US state laws count letting advertising companies collect identifiers for targeted ads as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, even when no money changes hands. You can opt out as described in section 4.
We would only disclose information we hold, such as an email you sent us, if the law requires it.
8. How long data is kept
- Game progress: on your device, until you delete the game or its data.
- Ad data: kept by Google for the periods described in How Google retains data.
- Emails you send us: kept only as long as we need to help you, and deleted at the latest 12 months after our last message, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
9. International transfers and security
Google processes ad data on servers around the world, including in the United States, and protects these transfers with legal safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Data sent by the ads software is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Your progress stays in the game's private storage on your device.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR, Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) or US state laws such as the CCPA), you may have the right to:
- know what personal data is processed about you, and get a copy of it;
- have it corrected or deleted;
- object to or restrict its use, and withdraw your consent at any time (this doesn't affect anything that happened before);
- opt out of targeted advertising and of the “sale” or “sharing” of your data;
- not be treated differently for using these rights;
- complain to a data protection authority, for example your national authority in the EU, the ICO in the UK, or the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) in Turkey.
Because we don't hold personal data about players, the quickest way to control ad data is to use the choices in section 4 and Google's privacy tools. You can always write to us at [email protected], and we will reply within one month.
Legal bases (EEA and UK): we rely on your consent for personalised ads and for storing or reading information on your device for advertising, and on our legitimate interest in funding a free game with ads, measuring them and preventing fraud.
11. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and it loads nothing from other companies. Like any web server, our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (such as IP address, time and page visited) for a short time, for security and to keep the site running.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change how the game uses data, for example by adding a new ad partner or feature, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will also mention important changes in the game's update notes.
